We were an ice house that manufactured ice in the 1920's-1950's

Begin at the Ice Wagon Exhibit

The 1902 Studebaker wagon represents the Ice  Wagon that delivered ice from this ice house to local houses by horse and wagon.  The kitchen is a typical SE Texas kitchen from the 1920's with an ice box.

The Rhinoceros Fossil Exhibit

Found by a local fisherman, the 10 million year old fossil was found under the waters of The Neches River in Tyler County.

America's history is not in Washington, or Philadelphia.  It is in every corner and thoroughfare of this nation.

The Presidential Papers exhibit exposes how these 8 US Presidents individually influenced local history, through original documents from their administrations as far back as 1824.
